However, the single most impactful, game-deciding upgrade you can possibly achieve is the overall level of your King Tower (your base account level).
The level of your King Tower dictates the maximum hitpoints and the damage-per-second of all three of your defensive structures (the two Princess towers and the central King tower).
The Mathematics of Survival
However, if your Princess tower is only level 10, it will deal slightly less damage per shot, requiring FOUR shots to kill that same level 11 Goblin.
Conversely, having a higher level tower than your opponent means your towers act as an incredibly potent, passive defense, cleaning up small pushes entirely on their own without requiring you to spend elixir.
- That is equivalent to a free Fireball’s worth of health.
- Higher level towers kill Minions and Skeletons much faster.
- Donating is the fastest way to earn the Account XP required to level up your King Tower.
Winning Before the Match Begins
Beyond the raw mathematics, entering a match with a higher King level provides a massive psychological advantage.
You know that your towers can absorb a few extra hits from a stray Miner or a predictive Fireball without crumbling.
