The Sinker
If your face appears more exposed, showing more muscle definition, you might be a “sinker.”
As we age, the fat in our face diminishes, causing the skin to sit closer to the muscles, to an older more appearance. One of the first areas affected is the temples, often overlooked but crucial in maintaining a youthful look. Hollow temples can make the eyes disappear, eyebrows slope, and a sharp edge form beside the eyes.
Second is the lower face; even those with good bone experience volume loss over their cheeks but replacing volume in a subtle way over the cheekbones can return the face to its youthful appearance, lift the lower face, and enhance the eyes. Early signs of aging often show around the eyes, where volume loss can cause them to change shape and sink into the sockets, creating hollows or bags.
