25 Hidden Plotlines Everyone Missed In Red Dead Redemption 2

That especially hurt for two reasons: one, Arthur Morgan can’t just end Micah right after that, even though I really wanted to, and second, I had spent so much time petting local dogs and cats that Micah’s actions seemed to erase all the time I had spent giving them a pat – by the way, you can give every dog in this game a good ol’

He even calls it a paradise on earth—so what happens when you finally make it over the border? Irish up and leaves back to the US never to be seen again. It’s a weird move considering his existence in the States is beyond miserable, plus the trip has been one arduous and dangerous ride—yet for no specific reason, he heads back ag

While riding on your horse through the expansive wilderness, you obviously must have noticed the day/night cycle that takes place. However, only an extremely observant eye will have noticed that the moon follows the lunar cycle as w

In the mission, Irish is being roughed up by a Welshman and an American, whom everyone confusingly refers to as the ‘Frenchman.’ After Marston saves Irish from the two, he asks him Irish why Frenchie held that specific title—Irish doesn’t bother explaining and it’s never mentioned ag

Taking control of an all-new protagonist – Arthur Morgan – players had to resist the lure of Blackwater following a heist-gone-wrong, and instead explore the rest of the available map. Thankfully it was an expansive and living open world, allowing you to sit down for a game of Dominoes with your fellow campmates when you needed a break from the chaos, or slip on a bandana before robbing a train if you’re feeling up for the challe

In the open world of Red Dead Redemption 2 , you are given the ability to choose an honorable path or dishonorable one: essentially you can try to be good or bad. Choosing to be honorable means saving women from kidnappings, helping the law bring in bounties, saving civilians from other gangs, and helping strangers in danger who appear along the roadside. Being dishonorable means killing the law and helping criminals, killing strangers, stealing from civilians, and mostly killing in general.

Events that players took part in get written about, and it’s interesting to read about them from a remote perspective. It is also a testament to the amount of detail developers put in this game if they have dynamic newspap

There are plenty of portrayals of Big Foot out there, but the wild giant of Red Dead Redemption 2 is a dour guy. The lonely giant can be befriended only after studying at least thirty species of animals. Once you’ve proven your appreciation for wilderness , you can follow a flock of birds to Big Foot’s cave where he’ll begin to hold conversations with you. It’s a lucky stroke the guy can even talk, since he clearly doesn’t have a great social life outside of hanging out with Arthur. Rockstar definitely didn’t let the giant off the hook as far as being a sad st

Red Dead Redemption 2 characters Dead Redemption has its fair share of grounded details, like how Arthur’s interactions with people are negatively affected if he doesn’t mind his hygiene, and then there are unique details like an after-hours ghost. Who wouldn’t stay up late and wander darkened streets if it means running into a ghost? Fine, these ghosts play it even scarier by hanging out in alligator-infested swamps… but isn’t the danger worth meeting the spirit of Agnes Dowd ? Well, run into her on a foggy night at the Bluewater Marsh between 9 PM and 3 AM. Don’t worry about the foggy weather making it difficult to spot her – reportedly, she’s shout

Throughout the opening third of Red Dead Redemption , Marston will attempt to call out the immoral actions of his companions, only for them to turn around and point out how Marston comes from a life of immorality. At one point he attempts to defend his prior life as one with a code, to which Bonnie MacFarlane mockingly replies, “The outlaw with a code? How wonderfully romantic! The reluctant murderer, the noble criminal. There’s nothing more depressing than a man who’s found a way to think the bad into good.”

As the game heads to Mexico, Marston has the unreliable Irish take him on a raft and sneak into the regions of South America’s capital. On the way, Irish waxes on about how much he loves Mexico; things are cheap, the women beautiful

However, Red Dead Redemption 2 is about so much more than its story. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I feel like the story of the game is overshadowed by how much detail was put into making it. There are so many nuances to the game, Easter eggs to find, activities you can engage in, and mind-boggling features to discover that the narrative’s excellence takes second place to the game’s craftsmanship as a whole. Don’t believe me? Well, if you don’t have the time or inclination (as of yet) to play Red Dead Redemption 2, you should take a gander at this list here. But seriously, consider checking out the game on your own if you haven’t already since it is really fantastic.
